Aural audio journal application is a side project. I always found several applications in the market for text journals, personal diaries and several such similar applications. I wanted to design an application that overcomes the problem of texting and have them under PIN protected safe. Aural is such an app which will help you track your mood on a daily basis based on your input and also lets you save your audio journal files all locked with a PIN and Face ID.
After analyzing the applications in the market along with the user feedback I understood that my application interface should be simple to navigate and easy to access. It should also provide a safe lock system, so based on the latest iOS I integrated FaceID along with PIN. The most important part, the application should also be accessible from a desktop or PC which can help you access your audio files.
After testing several IT Solution agencies website and understand their need of presence, flow and usability issues we landed on a conclusion of what the web page should be reflecting.
Apart from this we even ran some similar tests on different Employee portals to understand what would be the most prior requirements for an organization to track among their employees. By doing so we divided the requirements from the organization and requirements from the user.
Aural will allow a user to store his personal audio journals from day to day and keep track of his mood swings and represent it in a statistical form. Users who would like to have a journal for themselves without typing a work can use Aural to record secured audio journals. The features I integrated in the application are Mood swings, Audio file storage, cloud storage access, statistical information of the moods and password protection.
